Total Lamp Lumens  Vs CREE Delivered Lumens:

CREE uses the term Delivered Lumens when stating the Lumen output of their Lumenaires. This means total lumens produced by the luminaire. e.g. CR14 TROFFER 4000LM 36W, the total lumens output from the luminaire is 4000lm. As for the 2 x 28W T5 linear fluorescent, each lamp has a lumens output of 2600lm, which comes to a total of 5200lm. However this is not the total output lumens of the luminaire or Delivered Lumens, as there will be a 20-30% loss due to the diffuser, reflector and other losses. So the total output will be closer to 4200lm.
